Retina display is NOT SUCH A HUGE deal of a little thing like the iPhone 4, but a HUGE deal of a large thing like the ipad mini thumb.gif applaud.gif

iOS and the apps designed for the iPad are what keep Apple at the top for tablets, not the internal hardware specs. Android and Windows 8 tablets have a long ways to go before catching up with Apple in that department because the quality of apps being put out for the iPad are just a lot better than the one version scaled phone apps on the other two platforms. iOS developers make a lot more money developing for Apple and so obviously they're going to invest more of their time working on the most profitable port for their software.

Eh?

Apple has gone seriously down hill since Tim Cook has had the helm, and i wish i could say it was a shame, however it really isn't. It allows the others to catch up, and in some cases just out perform apple. This ipad mini has added nothing new to the market like the Ipad, Iphone and ipod touch did. It seems a little 'un apple-esque' this product.
I disagree. Apple is going just fine and will continue to do so. The iPad Mini was meant to fill a gap in Apple's lineup not to add something new to the market. There's a need for that size of tablet, and that need is primarily reading. At 300g it would be very comfortable to hold.

What's your point? It's a huge deal because the larger display the more power consumption from the backlight. And same is true of denser pixels.

Is anyone else waiting on the new iTunes? I'm really looking forward to it but they haven't released it yet eek.gif

Maybe on the 26th...?

IPhone 4 / S has no problem being retina display and small(small battery )

Trying to get facts from YOU, other than a strong opinion just like the rest of us.

Just to be clear..I love the Apple hardware. But I hate the attitude,.

And would never use a restrictive OS
