That's you're problem, you're trying to sell it back to Apple. doh.gif
I know. That was just quick.

In ebay if you're lucky it goes for £200, normally more like £170. Still quite a lot of devalue, considering buying it like that that day BNIB would've probably cost me £400.

Wow prices over there are ridiculous. £200 for a 4 when the 4S was out. I paid the equivalent of about £125 for a 4S, 12 months ago.

It's not what it would've cost you, it what it did cost you. And Ebay is a joke too ( basically made for people to get items cheap ), stick to craigslist or even sign yourself up to an Apple forum with a market like ours here. Or stick it up on ebay with a buy it now price, instead of auction, of 200 euro and you've lost no money.

Regular electronics lose much, much more value quickly. Figure you'd be lucky to get %50-%60 back on it after a year. Whereas most iDevices can normally get you %80+ back with relative ease. And with luck, net you an extra $100 on top ( such as Lordikons example ). Or as mine with my MBP upgrades each year, I only lose $50-100 each go on a $2000 product.

But if you don't try to sell it ( and I don't just mean slapping a listing up and hoping someone buys it ) then you can't complain if you lose more money. Also helps to be a good salesman, or have some social engineering skills smile.gif

Also, craigslist here is an utter joke.

Yeah they really are frown.gif.
The ipad mini in the US is $329 which equates to about £200.
Yet in the UK it costs us £270.

Turkish KDV stops UK VAT of doing that. today, at a carrier (which btw brings unlocked phones from UK to sell in turkey, and this happens in a legal shop in a mall) we have to pay around 2600TL (around $1445) for a damn phone. its because of UK tax, Turkish tax (18% on electronics) and the profit. normally, the legally imported phones (4S maximum) went for 3kTL ($1700) on the first day it came to turkey. DAMN YOU TAX. with $3k here you can max. get a 3770K with a GTX670 lol

That's insane. Stifles technology in the country, making sure fewer people can afford to buy new electronics.

Anyone who reads a lot should definitely get the Paperwhite. It's pretty small and easily worth finding space for in your luggage if you also travel often. The battery life is also insane.. anywhere from a month to two months, depending one how heavily you read.

I just got mine in a couple weeks ago and love it.
