Realmware Colour Tweaker does this, I believe.

I do kind of agree with their decision. It was going to be broken anyway. They put the blue-tint in the game for a reason and, although people will say it was to piss off the community rolleyes.gif, it sets the war-ish atmosphere. They're getting the point across that war isn't bright, colorful, or happy.. it's dark and gloomy and sad. It adds a greater sense of immersion. It's not realistic, but it's not supposed to be.

.. and there's always the colour tweaker for those who don't like it.

I suggest snoball's settings and cranking up Digital Vibrance a wee bit. smile.gif
And GG DICE you guys rock. Don't give the people what they want, that's exactly how successful companies are made.

Yay let's ignore everything else DICE has changed in favor of the community! tongue.gif

I would expect them to block that in the next patch seeing as they have just done a U turn on this.....

First thoughts when I heard it was coming:
EA/DICE finally doing something nice for their fanbase. Are they finally listening?

Now:
I knew it was too good to be true. These companies don't care at all, and make up dumb excuses on why they don't want to add stuff like this. According to this logic, they should remove all graphical settings in the game because "low" would not properly advertise their game.

FYI, I prefer default graphics in the game and still feel these companies have become greedy and selfish. If people want to remove the filter, let them, either with a mod (which is now bannable) or by having an in-game option. Will continue to avoid their games, and keep supporting companies that actually listen to their fanbase (which is becoming a very small % of companies).

Wow.... i wish this Website wasn't worksafe for the things i have to say.

I hate when people go back on their word. Why even mention it to begin with? I sure hope there is ALOT of negative PR for this just because i'm sick of their lies.

So they threaten us with bans when we take our own action to improving the turd of a filter they seem to love soo much and don't do a thing about it themselves?

They should allow us to use the Realmware tool

This is just silly. Didn't they say that they don't believe that it gives much of a competitive advantage? If they did, then why would you force people to keep color grading enabled? I understand they're proud of it, but doesn't mean they should force people to use it, they can use it themselves.

This doesn't really surprise me, but I really hope to see all of the new weapons brought back to the latest expansion pack release.

why do people get so pissed about them just trying make the game more balanced, by preventing visual mods which have been shown to have an effect on performance?

also, sure the game isn't that vibrant but it is realistic-looking. i feel like everyone expects everything to look super saturated, which is not realistic. i mean just compare d2 to d3 or morrowind to oblivion (skyrim is somewhat better i think). games used to have more realistic lighting before everyone decided to go for this super vibrant lighting, at least games trying to look realistic

Since when was "real life" tinted blue?

Not that big of a deal in my opinion. The studio shouldn't feel obligated to change the art style of their game just because people aren't happy with it. Quit crying over spilled milk and deal with it. If you don't want to play because you don't like the art style, then don't. I swear this generation really is deteriorating. Everyone has a "I must have it how I want it and now" mentality.
