Headphone recommendation

My girlfriend loves the sound isolation of my 'Sennheiser HD 280 PRO' and her birthday is coming up soon so I wanted to get her a set of cans. I could just get her the same set as mine but I wanted to know if there were any wireless headsets that can come close to the isolation of the 280pros. If there is a small reduction in sound quality that would be alright (she really is not an audiophile); however, I would want the isolation to stay the same.

I picked up a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 audiophile headphones a few months back. They perform like a charm with my integrated audio card and perform excellently with my recently purchased Asus sound card. These headphones have been great from playing BF3 to listening to lossless classical music that I have become kind of addicted to. I purchased mine at a guitar center for exactly $200.

For a $200 budget on headphones alone, I would recommend buying a good headphone (used), and then buying an external amp to replace the terrible integrated laptop audio.

My suggestion:

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO - $165

Fiio E6 - $27

I recommend the same. 250 Ohm only works with an amp. The 770 dt 80 Ohm Version can work too. Its just a little more bass heavy. The 250 Ohm version is more balanced. Both are a good choice smile.gif

Or Audio Technica A900.

Find them used and throw in a Fiio e10.
