Add-on Tenkeypad for macros?

Is it possible to use an add-on USB Tenkeypad exclusively for macros without interfering with the Tenkeypad that's already on my keyboards?

I doubt it but thought I'd ask anyway since there are keyboard gurus here.

why not look at a game pad such as the razer nostromo or the logitech g13 ?

Thanks for your suggestions. I just want to spend about $10 for a USB numeric keypad if there's a way to get it work as a dedicated macro keypad.

Yes, it's possible with autohotkey.
When you normal keyboard "Num Lock" ON,
USB numeric keypad "Num Lock" OFF,
On USB numeric keypad, you can autohotkey Home, PgUp, End, PgDn & 4 arrow keys.
