RAM for a mid-end system.

My sig rig is in desperate need of some ram (and graphics card upgrade but that might be later). I only have 200$ CAD to spend maximum, including shipping and tax.

I'd prefer to go DDR2-667, to match the speed of my other stick. I believe I have this stick here (http://209.250.132.202/site/main.php...etail&id=10852) although that site lists the timings at 5-5-5-10, while Everest Ultimate reads it at 5-5-5-12 and I haven't done any tweaking.

For 200$, I'm pretty sure that I couldn't afford a 2GB kit, although if the price is just a tiny bit over, I'm sure I could afford it.

I'm trying to decide whether to get another stick of OCZ Value RAM so I can run it in dual channel, or if I should just flat out buy 1GB of some other brand, and give up running dual channel.

Right now the best contender is the Corsair: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...860&CatId=2263

But I will accept any opinions you have, I'm looking to buy the RAM sometime this weekend.

Thanks,

NiK

Try this one. It has D9 chips at a decent price.

I am not looking to overclock these whatsoever, but I have heard many good things about those Team Xtreem sticks, and I will look into them. The Corsair is the easiest for me to obtain however, and I cannot see any large advantage from buying the Team Xtreem sticks, as they are more expensive, and with one piece of Value ram in my machine already, I will not be able to utilize their high bus speed.
