+1 for SLI.. But, prepare for some serious heat coming out of the back of your case and of course having a large enough PSU..

Pretty much this, unless you get a 660 ti, then you'll be at least beating the 580 by a little bit.

I was thinking of getting another 2 580s I have a ASUS DirectCU II GeForce GTX 580 which is the one with the huge fans on and i toke the fans off and got it water cooled... But was thinking of buying another 2 of them... Because the 580 i have is a dream card i have had not one problem with it so far. Thanks to everyone who posted here.

Skip past the Crysis benchmarks unless you play alot of Crysis. For some reason, Kepler doesn't do well with Crysis. You can see the 660 is about 5-10% behind the 580 on average and the 660ti is about 5-15% faster on average.

6 90: 6 series, extreme.

What ? You can run GTX 660 SLi. GTX 660Ti you can run 3-way SLi.

I 'upgraded' from 2x GTX 460 1GB OC Ed. cards in SLi to a single MSI GTX 660 TwinFrozr III OC 2GB, and the GTX 660 actually manages just to be a bit a head.
The GTX 660 trades blows with GTX 580.

No way. GTX 660 atleast 10% slower than stock GTX 580. The gap widens even more with overclocking. the GTX 580 is a beast.

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_660_Twin_Frozr_III/27.html

I'm just telling for a fact what I know - and it varies a lot from game to game.
I went from 3x GTX 580 to 3x GTX 670 in my main PC, and went from 2x Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB OC Edition SLi to one MSI GTX 660 TwinFrozr III OC 2GB card in my 2nd gamer pc.
I compared 1x GTX 580 to 2x GTX 460 back when I had them, and the GTX 460 SLi was mostly the fastest option. If I compare the results from the games I been using as well as the obligatory 3dmark version and Heaven DX 11, the GTX 660 delivers the same results and the GTX 460 SLi with the sole exception of 3dmark03 - there they beat a single GTX 580 too. I compared the results with GTX 580 using forceware 301.42 and GTX 660 using forceware 306.97. I can't redo the tests because the GTX 580's are all sold... so are the GTX 460s.
