Thread Starter
I'm looking for a good quality mechanical keyboard without num pad. I'm considering CM Storm Quickfire Rapid Cherry MX. Any suggestions?

The Filco Majestouch 2 tenkeyless edition is a solid choice

I'm sorry if you find this a stupid question. I'm not familiar with the other brands. Not sure with the quality/durability.

That has a number pad, and 18 macro keys. I think he wants a neat and compact keyboard, and if he doesnt want number keys, I am sure he doesnt want a ton of macro keys.

If it's a TKL board you're looking for, then I would go with either a CM Storm QuickFire Rapid, a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL, or a Leopold TKL.

Not sure what switch type you were looking for, all the above links are for the MX Blue versions of those particular boards.

I own a Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid and I love it. I bought it for $80 at Mechanicalkeyboards.com. My keyboard has black switches, but they carry all others as well.

I love my QuickFire Rapid, though it's my first mech keyboard so I don't have anything to compare it to. Build quality is pretty solid despite the fact that it's one of the cheapest mechanical keyboards around.

There's currently a promo being offered on the CM Store that offers $40 off of the Trigger/QF Pro/QF Rapid (all with Black switches) - might want to check that out.
