i,m running a i3-2130 cpu with 16 gigs of Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B , PC3-12800, DDR3-1600MHz, 9-9-9-24 CAS Latency, Intel XMP Ready, Unbuffered ---600w thermaltake psu and a evga gtx 560 2gig gpu, useing the click bios and the control center i,d like to get alittle more out of my cpu and ram if anyone could help a noob, i know the cpu is locked so there mite not be much i can do there until i can afford a cpu upgrade but i,m pretty sure i can bump the ram alittle i,d be grateful for any help, thx

I'm having a little trouble following your post but if the only thing you changed is the motherboard, then Vsync is the likely explanation. You probably had it enabled on your old system (limiting you to 60 FPS) and now it's disabled on your new system.

Its a bit hard to follow - please answer the following to help me better understand

1. You want to increase performance, this I understand - but what for ( what kind of usage are you wanting to get a boost in performance from) since I can go on and on without understanding you and just help you get a higher energy bill in the end.

2.with your claim of being a "noob" to what extent are you familiar with how standard BIOS features and settings work. In terms of memory timings, CPU features, memory speeds/dividers

3.how is your ability to have patience - tweaking settings just right to gain performance and stability can take a while. Are you the type to be able to do this or are you more of a right in right out person in terms of patience
