Server specific Xeon motherboards typically OC like crap, but the Xeons themselves are usually binned versions of their desktop counterparts to contend with the harsh server environments of tiny slot coolers and 24/7 use. They usually OC better then the desktop version because of this.

My chip is the Xeon equivalent of an E8400, and before I degraded it by torturing and overvolting it for bench runs for 6 years straight it was running 4.5ghz on less vcore then most E8400s used for 4.3

and atm im direct cooling my cpu just to see how well it works compared to the chiller when i make it to see which is better i am willing a new pump on ebay £3.99 gbp haha my old pump just wasnt enough

well i took the peltier out my 400watt ran my cpu @ 4ghz 55c idle :'( almost killed it ( tec ) but im back to just water cooled now 60c loaded after 3hours 34c idle

Was that the video of my Dual Direct Die? It was insulated and run at maximum power at 24V. The computer was also idle. I was using 2x Triple Low Fin Density radiators to keep the heat in check.
