Hey all, I just recently installed an aftermarket heatsink with some Arctic Silver 5, which has quite a long break in time (around 200 hours I've heard), and I've also heard the best thing you can do during a break in time is to do constant 100% load tests (such as Prime95) for 20 minutes or so, and then 20 minutes off, on close to 0% CPU usage.
I'm wondering if anyone has developed a program to do this automatically? If not, my idea would be to create a program, that would have the same stress testing options as Prime95, and if the developer had permission from the Prime95 team, to use their code in this program. The twist on the program would be the cycles: You can choose the test to run for x minutes, then give the CPU a break for x minutes, and do this for x hours.
I think it would be an awesome program for break ins, and I don't know of one out there like this. Then again, I haven't done a whole lot of searching, so there very may well be a program like this currently released.
