Fx-8350 on a sabertooth 990fx r1?

Does anyone have a fx-8350 on a sabertooth r1. I don't see a bios update for it like the r2. I just ordered one and if it's not compatible I'm disowning asus.

They haven't confirmed if they are gonna update the bios. Looks like the only asus board that does are the crosshair and the sabertooth Rev2.

I've got a 8350 coming, gonna try it on the Rev1. I sent Asus a nasty-gram about it. Told them if they don't update, I won't be buying asus again.

We've been discussing this in the vishera news thread and the sabertooth owners thread, in short 1503 might support it, but it looks like asus is playing a dirty sales game, once Gundamnitpete or someone else gets their chip, we'll know if it really works with the 1503 bios or not.

Yeah but they haven't updated the CPU list yet to include it. But I did get an email from tech support saying that it's because it hasn't been tested yet and so they haven't put it on the list.

Nearly forgot about this thread, but to clarify as I had in the sabers owners club, the saber rev1 does now officially support Vishera/Piledriver.
