[The Verge] Microsoft Surface review - Page 2

Are you guys sure you're not just calling him biased because you're all opposed to Apple? Review is objective enough to me, and I don't own any iDevices.

I'm pretty sure you guys are perceiving negativity toward a non-Apple product as pro-Apple bias just because you all hate Apple...

Of course someone would go there lol. As some have even stated to owning apple devices and not hating apple, I doubt everyone replying in this thread is an apple hater.

Patiently waiting for the Pro version. Hopefully, it's not too insanely priced.

Can you type without the keyboard attached? Of all the reviews/videos I've seen, I have yet to see someone typing with just the tablet.

If you're unfamiliar with a particular reviewer's predilections, or read my reply (not that you were addressing anyone, specifically) and perceived it as being "opposed to Apple," I don't know what to make of that. I wouldn't categorize the other replies as "hating" Apple, either.

Does the iAnything have a keyboard..?  Or, MS office..?   (Or, the xbox?)

Then^ how does it even compete, or even have relevance? How do you maintain a blog, do homework or even use a tablet without a keyboard..?

I have given every tablet I've bought, away...  because although fun, they are not much use at all without a keyboard. An ultra-portable touchscreen laptop is awesome idea & iApple doesn't have one of those....   so of coarse these twits favor Apple. As these people only have one need & criteria... "to feel good about themselves thru lemminghood"..!

I'm looking forward to the non RT version, though I do agree that 16:9 on a tablet seems a little silly. I have an iPad 2 now but I really like the Nexus 7 too.

Well bought one and i am going to return it soon. With 32gb version, the hard drive has like 24 gb ( dont know where 8gb goes). And 12gb for windows and other pre installed apps I ended up with 10gb free. But i do admit this is solid device really nice design but ill try the Toshiba U925t see how does it compare.

Uh, you know it has an SD slot right? It has expandable memory...

that doesn't mean it can justify giving us such little available space after the OS has been installed.

That point being, he was given the choice to buy a 32gb & 64gb, but chose lower one...   then, only to complain about it later?  All-the-while, not to understand that SD storage is available..  along with USB..?

Maybe if he could explain why he needs, or intends to use that extra 10GB..  there would be justification.
