It seems to do very well compared to intel's cpu at that price point: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/699?vs=677

Not really.

After a long wait I'm ready to abandon ship. Time to build a new (Intel) rig.

It performs really well, and is a reasonable upgrade from your 965 without breaking the bank....

They're very solid for the low relative cost. Definitely an upgrade from your current CPU.

I am eagerly awaiting some overclocking results on these vishera cpu. I have the fx8120 and max stability for 24/7 is 4.7@1.48 vcore. If the 8320 beats that on volts/clock speed I will definitely buy one because with the stock clocks improvement over Zambezi it would be a very justifiable upgrade

Nah ... I'm just trolling. I'll get a 8350 smile.gif I'm too lazy to swap my board again.

Yes just seen that thread. The only trouble is maybe not the main. Plenty of bulldozer owners seemed to get on or above 5ghz also. I can bench my fx8120 at 4.9 no problem, I can post above 5ghz for validation but I want a higher gaming stable oc than my chip. Not really interested in benching. Can I play bf3 multi for a few hours straight with better minimum xfire gpu utilisation on the more cpu intensive maps/situations is what matters to me rather than a few extra 3dmark11 points
