Unable to enable SLI with Galaxy GTX 670 4gbs

Thread Starter
Well as the title suggests, I'm having difficulties enabling SLI with my shiny new 670. I've actually done SLI on my Mobo before, and with another pair of 670 4gbs. I've re-installed the multiple drivers multiple times, tried switching the cards around in the PCI lanes, tried it with different SLI bridges, re-installing Windows, but so far nothing has worked. Both of the cards are detected by windows, in GPU-Z, in Precision-X, and both have been tested individually for stability. They are on the default bios with no overclocks (yet), and I've honestly run out of ideas. Rig is in my sig.

Edit: When I open up the control panel, under the tab I know it should be, "Configure SLI, Surround, PhysX" it just reads "Configure Surround, PhysX", completely skipping the option of SLI. It isn't mentioned anywhere in the panel.

Help would be very much appreciated, thanks! thumb.gif

In the BIOS, is it set to PCI-E 2.0 or 3.0?

I was unaware that there was even such an option, and after doing a quick run-through I'm unable to find it in my UD5H bios.

Just looked through the manual & can't find either mad.gif .

Only thing I can think of is that if Physx is set to a GPU, it will disable SLI. Can you set your Physx to Auto-select (usually means CPU) and test....

Well it was in fact using GPU(2) as the PhysX renderer, and my heart skipped a beat as it was applying the changes. Alas, no cigars. even flipped the cards around again, flipped the SLI bridge, nothing... Why the hell is it refusing to give me the option to SLI when it recognizes both cards???? mad.gifmad.gifmad.gifgunner.gifwha-smiley.png

Well it appears my last post didnt make it. And yeah. It didnt work. If you refer to my original post, the lre is no mention of SLI anywhere in the control panel, even with everything connected. (Frustrated face)
