Can you fudge some of the pricing to your wife? If mine knew how much I was dropping on my upgrade next week I'm sure she would raise hell. But we also have separate bank accounts so she pretty much has to take my word for it.

xfx usually has very good warranties, that actually extend to you and if you ever sell it, to that person too. and i had no problem with my old xfx 4350
and while that cpu will hold you back a bit, its probably just the difference between like shadows on ultra, and shadows on high if that, i can get high on my 5850 and a 960t at 3.68

I just want to have some slack in there in case my 560ti doesn't sell for the amount that a used one is going for this week. I try to be cautious and wife friendly is all. But I looked at it and that really is a great deal.

worst case is you sell the games for atleast 20 - 25 bucks per game. best case you spend the extra money and enjoy the games. thumb.gif

They have stepped up their component quality with the HD7000 series with their non reference design the Double D, 2oz copper pcb, solid caps and ferrite chokes. The pcb felt sturdy like the Gigabyte Windforce card I used to have.

I installed that exact same graphics card in a friends computer 2 weeks ago with this power supply http://www.amazon.com/XFX-PRO750W-Edition-Semi-Modular-80Plus/dp/B005IUVYA2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351064482&sr=8-1&keywords=xfx+750 with no problems
