Help A Nub With AMD FX-4100 OC

Thread Starter
Hey all...I'm just getting started OCing my AMD FX-4100. Can anyone help me with some quick tips and some reading that can get me started in the right direction?

I'd like to get stable at 4.4Ghz which I have read is simple with this chip.

Cheers all, my PC Specs are in sig.

"In your bios your going to increase your cpu frequency by 10-15mhz at a time, and then load your computer up and run a stress/stability test to see if you have a stable overclock. Repeat these steps until you are at a unstable overclock or your temperatures are too high for your liking."

I remember I lowered my friends voltage on the same CPU to make it more stable. Start off with a voltage of 1.25. And follow the quote. When it gets unstable, increase the voltage by .01 or .02 until it is stable again.
