Bf3 graphics maxed out on multi or sp are butter smooth for me whereas this even in single player feels stuttery and choppy. I will play the campaign through and enjoy it but will never log into the multi again. Bf3 close quarters is a world above this

Hmmm..... that's strange. Runs absolutely perfect for me and we know that Frostbite 2.0 doesn't scale beyond 2 GPUs. But yeah like i said, the SP definitely seems a lot better than the SP of BF3. BF3 SP made me feel distant whereas this one definitely seems to have been tailored for an action movie like experience (read Michael Bay). Kind of like COD but IMO way better because of Frostbite 2.0.

Yes the MP sucks - no contest with even COD let alone BF3. I finally logged in to check it out and I am positive it is not using the same engine. I think its using UE3. Anyone have data on this?

I'm liking the Sp campaign but have one weird occurrence. The car chase mission is 30 fps locked. Suckyyyyy!!!!

Yes I quite like the single player so far so for the price I paid, with 50% off I will enjoy it but the multiplayer is horrendous graphics. Bf3 use of frostbite to this is a world apart. I just let my son have a go when home from school, he also doesn't like it so least wont have to pay for another copy lol

Who is we? And what are you talking about no scaling above 2 GPUs? Ya i figured before you were lying about having 690 Quad SLI + a 680 dedicated to PhysX. If you want to live in your made up world fine, just please DONT spread wrong information to other people.

"We" refers to the community at large and the plethora of reviewers that have done extensive testing on these games to come to the conclusion that the Frostbite 2.0 engine doesn't scale well beyond 2 Cards. i having multiple cards can claim assertion to that fact.
Now as far as I am lying:

He posted a screenshot of his BF3 test with varying levels of GPU usage and FPS gains. You, in return, have responded with nothing to back up your claim.

The above link clearly proves my claim of actually negative scaling in Frostbite 2.0 with over 2 GPUs - 2 way (153 FPS) leads 3 way (143 FPS) which significantly leads 4 way (137 FPS).
Here is another example showing a less than 10% increase with quad sli (honestly i don't think the impact is even 10%) -

In anyone's book that is very poor scaling. I am sure that if you search the web you will find plenty examples of less than stellar scaling if at all.

Fact is - I have 4 GPUs and yet I am advocating the fact that this engine is better off with 2. Why would I advocate that unless it were the truth????

Only problem I have with this game so far is that I haven't been able to actually play it yet due to the fact that it crashes Windows every time I launch the application... :/
