The above link clearly proves my claim of actually negative scaling in Frostbite 2.0 with over 2 GPUs - 2 way (153 FPS) leads 3 way (143 FPS) which significantly leads 4 way (137 FPS).
Here is another example showing a less than 10% increase with quad sli (honestly i don't think the impact is even 10%) - Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
In anyone's book that is very poor scaling. I am sure that if you search the web you will find plenty examples of less than stellar scaling if at all.
Fact is - I have 4 GPUs and yet I am advocating the fact that this engine is better off with 2. Why would I advocate that unless it were the truth????

#1 Your link you posted is from March 23 2012. If you did not know the 690 had driver issues after launch with quad sli. Why else do you think x2 690s would have lower FPS than one 690??? Think about it. It should at least be the same performance if limited by another factor.
#2 Your graph you posted is 5760x1080 Ultra settings and is only showing VRAM limitations, not GPU performance scaling. You do know you only have 2gb vram available to your use with all that hardware you have..... BF3 ultra goes above 2gb vram at that res. So please learn something before you keep spreading incorrect information.
#3 In your case of course you will see poor scaling, you are running 1920x1080 for 690 quad SLI doh.gif Your 2nd 690 is just sitting there collecting dust, literally. At that resolution you run into a CPU bottleneck very quickly. Class dismissed.

Sorry off topic OP.

Holy crap IGN bashed the heck out of MOH. Surprised since theyve given every cod game good scores. Warfighter is not the best game but its definitely enjoyable

Example (this happens FREQUENTLY)....I sneak up to a guy from behind, start shooting for a solid 2-3 seconds of confirmed hits from nearly point blank range, then they turn arround and kill me in 2-3 shots. Then I look at the mortality information and he has over 50% health.

I would absolutely LOVE to play this game if this issue wasnt present. So far it has proven to be a waste of $35 (bought the deluxe which is also a waste).

Even the single player is unplayable. On the third mission after getting off the boat, my team (the AI) starts killing me and theres nothing I can do.

I can't upload a video of it because my upload is only 1kb/s but it goes something like this... gunner2.gifsozo.gifgunner.gif

Nothing you are saying is making sense. The information I have provided proves that frostbite 2.0 does not scale well BEYOND 2 GPUs. Plain and simple. Unless you have stake in amd/nvidia why would you care so much about spreading false information.
Secondly you made an adolescent remark about my being a liar and you got proven wrong.

Now back to the MOH, can anyone throw some light on which engine is being used for multiplayer? It looks a lot worst than the SP engine.

The first MoH uses frostbite 1.5 for multiplayer. It worked good for BC2 so I think Dice really fudged up when making the MoH multiplayer.

Which part was confusing for you? VRAM limitation or 690 quad bottleneck with 1080p? I would be glad to explain more to you so you can understand.

So according to you 1080p negative scaling is a result of CPU bottleneck and the higher resolution is due to VRAM limitation???? So the engine is Perfect?? I guess the hardware is the problem that's why the game doesnt scale????rolleyes.gif
Check out scaling in Sleeping Dogs, Metro 2033, Aliens vs predator, Max Payne 3. If those games can scale very well then so shoudl Frostbite 2.0. Dude are you related to the DICE people or something? That would explain the crazy defenses you are trying to put up for a game engine.
I mean THE GAME DOESNT SCALE WELL!!!!Why dont you accept that as a fact? I have tried it on multiple resolutions with multple num, bers of cards (1,2,3 and 4) and the gains are missing once you go beyond 2 cards!!
it almost seems like activision paid off some of these reviewers... quite a few are calling CoD innovative....when in truth blops 2 is the only cod since 4 to actually try to add something a little different but it's still same core game/gunplay.

I still love mohw mp for the face it's slower and requires you not to run around like a chicken with your head cut off like cod is.
