After googling around a bit I noticed that this thing is said to run a bit on the hot side, but some people have done the heatsink mod to it, i.e., drop the usual glue-on RAM heatsinks for the GFX cards on the CPU and RAM chips.
That gave me an idea (which would ofc be utterly pointless) - A SB waterblock, say Alphacool NBXS-A (which I have) with some kind of custom bracket should be able to cover about exactly the CPU and RAM chips on that thing + combine it with the cheapest/smallest pump one can find, say an Alphacool DT-LT and some arbitrary rad and one would have an watercooled ARM PC. Well ofc considering its like up to 10W or something like that the undertaking would be a bit poinless for other than e-peen, but hey - not everyone can claim to have an watercooled ARM rig.
Edit: So I thought a bit over the dimensions of that thing if watercooled. The main thing determining the size will be radiator with fittings. The dongle itself is 10x3x1.5 cm, the DT-LT pump + top is 5x5x3 cm (this pump is really small, have 2 of these in my system) and a rad, lets say Nexxos ST 30 is 16x12.5x3 cm - So - if I would put the dongle on the 16 cm long side and pump+top next to it (tube routing would be a bit of a problem prolly) then with 25mm thick fan this whole thing would be about 17x17 cm and about 6 cm high. With such a small loop I would not need a res, just would have to bleed to loop properly. Bill of materials would be about twice the cost of that ARM PC itself tho
about 27 eur for the rad, about 30 for the pump + top and I already have spare fittings, tubing, fans that start as low as 5 V, etc. - I'll have to think about it some more. There is no real point to put it under water I should finish first my current build as I'm always starving for the time. We'll see - would get a nice buildlog I imagine though.
