Regarding the voltage spike on 1.5KW, we were unable to reproduce this, so we are not exactly sure why the result showed that way. Other reviews like this one from TechPowerUp, did not show it either.
They even said in that review that it may be limited to samples.

These new ones are at great prices; I'll consider one of these the next time I am in the market for a PSU, as long as they do well in reviews.

Dude. You can run 3 680s on a 750W PSU.

Not that many people end up running more than 2 anyway.

1500w then 750/650w. Have i missed something or are EVGA going to be releasing ones in what I would have thought to have been one of the most popular categories among gamers and enthusiasts? i.e. 850w - 1000w.

Though I would agree that an 850 watt PSU should have been included as well, the >850W range is pretty rare these days, with the efficiencies of modern graphics cards.

I reckon if you did a poll here on OCN for what is the most popular power PSU purchased I reckon it would be 850w - 1000w. In this thread alone the majority of people have a PSU in this range, three have a 1200w and then there's about four with either a 550w or a 750w. I would say the 850-1000w range of power is getting more popular as more and more people are getting into higher resolution screens and things like eyefinity.

Just seems strange that a line of PSU's that seems to be geared towards, or at least intended for, gamers and enthusiasts has missed out the most common choices. I'm sure EVGA have much more of a clue about what they are doing and what there target consumers are then i do. I think more than anything I was trying to ask if EVGA intend to release the PSU's in question or if anything has been announced?

It mostly just seems to be that a lot of people like to buy 850W PSUs, as you can run any dual graphics card setup with that. I'm surprised that they wouldn't bring out an 850W model, but not that many people buy units above 850 watts. You only need that kind of power if you are doing something crazy, these days.
