Thanks in advanced George.

If you use your own 120mm fans in push/pull, the only way to bolt the fan filters down would be to mount the entire push/pull config under the roof, and I'm not sure there'd be enough space even if you used a 25mm thick rad. I suppose you could use the stock 200mm fans pulling and bolt the radiator and 120mm fans pushing below... it will bolt up that way just fine. I'm not sure how optimal that is tho vs using matching fans. But it is possible.

I am using the stock 200mm NZXT fans up top and 3-120 enermax fans underneath for Push-Pull on my top 360 rad. If that's hat your asking about it will work just fine. And you dont need the filters as using the top rad fans as exhaust would be the best setup for airflow. thumb.gif

Yes I was referring to ITDiva's stretched 820 I just bit of a noob on posting I couldn't work out how to edit the quote and didn't want to double post.
but my personal experience my hx850w corsair didn't have enough juice to run my msi gtx 580 lightning sli rig. not sure if it was another faulty psu as it was the 3rd one in a row (2 faulty ocz 1000w & 850w)
but I over killed it by usining an enermax 1500w max revo putting into the sweet spot of maxium efficiency and no chance of over loading causing premature capacitor degradation.

I've mentioned a few times throughout the buildlog, that there are two main PSU's. The 750W at the rear runs the mobo, CPU, case lighting, case fans, and 1 GPU.

The 1000W under the optical drive bays:

http://www.overclock.net/t/1326148/nzxt-phantom-820-stretched-limo-edition-build-log/370#post_19147212

Runs the remaining 3 GPU's.

There are two more smaller (300W) dedicated power supplies, one is 12V and the other is 24V.

The 12v is for the rad fans and linear actuators for the gullwing side window panel, and the 24V is for the six D5 pumps.

Overall, I have wayyy more PSU reserve than needed with the addition of the seperate 300 watters, but I thought it important to be able to run the loops to leak test etc and operate the side window panel without powering up the main system and mobo.

In normal operation, all the PSU's turn on automatically when the system is powered up, but the dedicated 12V and 24V supplies can be manually powered on individually and exclusively of the system PSU's.

I also used this setup in the past with my old phantom & H100 it works really well, the only thing was I used to get alot of dust buildup on the rad but that's because the old phantom wasn't as well filtered as the new one. Opted for a positive air pressure setup this time so my intakes are on top/bottom/front with only a rear exhaust thus almost completely eliminating any dust buildup. There was a little buildup on the top fans but it was very minimal, can be solved with some filters but the top panel acts like a shroud anyway. But this case is so well filtered that either setup shouldn't make a huge difference if you're concerned about dust.

Hey X Nine did you ever get my PM about the psu dust filter?

Well non dust filter to cover the mesh in the side panel, non dust filter on top if i dont want to use the 200mm fans, non option for using 2x120 fans infront plus the case got much plastic i really don't see a reason to buy this case now sorry thumb.gif

thanks for the update!! I actually had looked at your build log and am keeping an eye on your build it is absolutely insane.
I had figured that you were using multi psu just more the fact that even though you only need a 750w for the calulated load, just to make look more insane I thought you might put a huge psu there anyway more for an.aesthetic apperance.
I loved your unique reservoirs, I think with your design ideas I with you would go work in the nzxt design concepts team so I could buy some of your designs!!

I have to wait a week or two for some parts from frozenpc to complete my build then I will post some pics.

So I got home from work today and found that a big box from NZXT had been delivered. When I first got my Phantom 820, my fan controller was malfunctioning. I filed a ticket on NZXT's beta support website, and then contacted XNine to try to get more info on how the problem might be resolved. Jason took care of everything right away. I got a call from Ryan C @ NZXT the very next day to get more details about my problem. Ryan was very good about sending out a replacement, and I've already received a complete fan controller assembly from him, fan wires and all (and I thought they would just send me a new pcb!). The week after I received the replacement I got another email from Johnny H @ NZXT apologizing for any delays in resolving my problem and informing me that they were clearing up their backlog of service issues and would get a new controller sent out to me right away. As I'd already received one I tried to close my ticket through their support website and let them know that they've already done an excellent job addressing my problem, so they didn't need to waste any more money sending me replacement parts. I hadn't heard back from Johnny H, so I assumed they got the message.

...so I was a bit confused as to how I had a huge box sitting on my doorstep from NZXT today. I opened the box to find another fan controller assembly packed inside... along with:

NZXT helmet!

LOL! A nice (wow it's made of metal too!) NZXT helmet. I'd like to thank the NZXT customer service staff for the unbelievable job they've done resolving my issue. You guys made my day! I'm debating wearing this to work tomorrow.
