Stick to 12.8 for now. Both 12.10 and 12.11 have idle bug. Horizontal Lines are form MSI AB. You have to set Mode to 2.

Interesting. I set unofficial overclocking to mode 2 in AB and it works. I get a few lines when my OC sets but thats it. No more lines scrolling and my OC works. However I dont see any performance increase in FPS in BF3 whatsoever. I always test the same scenario to so Im not mistaken. 0% difference in my FPS. Which says to me no performance increase haha.

Were you able to download the .dll files and use them or did you just enable unofficial overclocking by changing the EULA and setting it to 2?

I had to DL the files to get it working with unofficial OCing mode 1 and 2. Had to switch back to 12.8 though due to instability. 12.11B worked for a couple days but then became increasingly unstable. My fiance just about shat herself while I was at working thinking she broke my computer because it had all kinds of crazy lines and stuff on the desktop.

I installed 12.11 and everything is working flawlessly, probably better than 12.8.
I didnt even face any idle clocks issue which i have been reading. My GPU remains at 300mhz in idle phase...

Never had any issue with any driver version of catalyst so far..

What are the most stable/ best performance drivers for Gigabyte 7950
