Worked just fine

im total noob regarding OC. The higher mhz and lower latency on memory, the best overclock i can get? I know that i should have only two modules...

If you're planning to get 4GHz out of your E8400, the only requirement for memory is capability of operating at at least 445MHz (DDR2-890).
These days, there is plenty of cheap DDR2-1000+ rated memory out there on ebay and forums for you to choose from.

and if in the future i get a Quad, something in between a Q9400 or Q9650 overclocked at +1Ghz, does that memory is enough?
