My mistake, I am going with the 3570K, not the 2500K! redface.gif Absentmindedness took me today lol!

The RAM I picked has very high potential for OC and pretty sure it was the best I was able to find. Plus, everywhere I was able to find any info on this, 4 4GB sticks in dual chan is slightly better in the long run than 2 8GB sticks in dual chan.. Still kinda iffy about that one though >_>

I'm using NCIX(US) for about half the parts which shaves off around $160ish from newegg's costs before shipping and stuff. I'm trying to avoid ebay/amazon/etc. Too many very bad experiences with them..

I'll keep my eye's open on the Samsung drives then.
I was looking into the H100s and the NH-D14 but cost was the main issue. I'm maxed out budget-wise on the build for the time being, but I will definitely be looking for an H100 if I can get more money set aside.

Thanks for the replies all! I hope to get more soon. I wanna be 100% sure this system is going to be a solid investment. It's also going to be a first time "from the ground, up" build for me also, so..

Everything looks pretty good. I'd personally spend less on the motherboard.

Here's an idea for RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226333

I had picked that thermaltake overseer case when I first started designing my build a few weeks back... when I presented it here many people tried to talk me out of it which eventually worked biggrin.gif
honestly after a lot of research there are much better cases out there for the same price or cheaper... I ended up settling on the cooler master storm trooper... after looking at the 2 side by side floor models in microcenter it was very clear that cooler master was way higher quality.thumb.gif and just overall classier and more functional.
