Maximus IV Gene-Z won't post with GTX480

Hi, I just got hold of a maximus iv gene second hand, and am having an odd issue. My 480 worked perfectly, 2 days ago when i ran it on my old board, but now i cannot get the new system to post while the card is inserted. I have updated the bios, reset cmos several times, tried both pcie slots, everything you can imagine, and the system refuses to post as long as the card is inserted. I have the system running now with the igpu selected. I also tried selecting the igpu and trying to just have the 480 sit in one of the slots unused; same problem.

Fyi, the debug led sits at d6 whenever this happens. The previous owner was able to run gpu's in the pcie slots no problem too.

Thanks in advance.

everything in the sig rig is the same except cpu(2700k now) and mobo. it's an ultra x3 1600w. also, I dont see how that could be the issue if it worked before...

Ive tried both dvi ports on the card. as stated earlier, i have been able to boot the computer fine using the igpu. It just won't post when the card is installed.

Does anyone know if it is possible to rollback the bios to the first release? When i tried to flash it, the ezflash thing said that the file was out of date.

Can you disable the integrated iGPU?
