Wouldn't touch a rosewill PSU with a 10 ft pole, not known for quality units.

FYI. Phreadrus' PSU calc is boss.

His rig would consume 600W at the very very very most, and that's with both the GPU and CPU being stressed well beyond what any normal-heavy usage would. I'd say closer to 400-450W max during normal gaming loads. I never saw my HX750 pull more than 500W from the wall using 2x GTX 470's (more power hungry than GTX 670's), no matter what game or combination of stress tests I used. Was usually hitting between 350-430W when gaming.

Regardless, even if you wanted to go 700-750W for "safe measure", some people are suggesting 850-900W units, which is way overkill. Plus, Phaedrus' PSU calc has it listed at ~625W PSU's wink.gif I stand by my recommendation.

You might want to update your thinking on that. Some of the Rosewills are crap, but the Rosewill Capstone series gets very good reviews (it's a Super Flower internally).

With the Capstone 750W unit, Rosewill has become a brand name to take notice of. Gone are the days when the words "house brand" meant something like Deer or Powmax. This unit is efficient, powerful, and extremely well performing. It is as good as almost anything else out there I could name.

Im thinking about adding a single loop water cooler in place of the h100 sometime down the road does that change the wattage needed?

the rosewill capstone 750M psu is a really good option.

Actually if you did your research that capstone is a very well made unit. CHeck out this review. Not all PSU's from Rosewill or any company are the same. They simply re-brand and a lot of the time they have a variety in quality between the models. Like for example the Corsair AX series are not all the same manu.

I would go with a corsair AX series. I have one and it's rock solid and quiet. If you plan to sleeve in the future I would recommend a Silverstone Strider.
