I recently purchased a CM Storm Trigger and a Mionix Naos 3200, which have been great upgrades from my Sidewinder X4/X5 combo. The only thing I don't like is how noticeable the friction between the mouse and my slide out desk tray is. I didn't have this issue with the Sidewinder X5. So I've considered getting a mousepad to resolve this. The issue is, my tray is roughly 26 inches. That means I need either a 5 inch pad just for the mouse or a large 24 inch pad for both the keyboard and mouse. I can't seem to find anything that would fit either scenario. Any recommendations?

I don't think I wanna spend $20 only to cut some cloth up. After readjusting I've found that the max the mouse pad can be is actually somewhere from 7-7.5 inches. I've found that they sell mouse pads in that size range, but they all tend to have those wrist rests. I've personally never used one. Do they interfere with gaming?

I used to use a mousepad with a gliding gen wrist rest. Was actually quite nice. I was using it with a tiny mouse though and when I upgraded to my Deathadder, i could barely move the mouse without it falling off the edge of the pad.
I never liked the ones like the one you linked though. Without the ability to slide around with your hand movements, the wrist rest just gets in the way.
Try looking for one without the wrist rest, or with one that moves.
