Asus "Lockfree" + 930D

Thread Starter
Well, I got a reply from the asus forum about why I cant change my cpu multiplier - It's a little cryptic for me....

Lock Free should work with any Intel processor with the performance enable bit set to '1'. These are the 'High Power' models.... the platform compatibility guide 05B processors.

I've seen a 940d on a Gigabyte mobo that was multi unlocked, but I cant find any info about how to check the "performance enable bit". Anyone able to help me out?

A p4 560 does work with that feature, but it only automatically lowers the mult from 18 to 15. I can't manually adjust it.
