Phenom II x4 920 vs AMD FX-8150 vs AMD FX-8350

Thread Starter
After my Piledriver proccessor and rest of my new rig came today I decided to grab the 8150 I just haven't gotten around to swapping
Since I'm going to swapping out to a new system would anyone wan't to see some benchmarks?
Or should I just toss 8150 out and enjoy Vishera goodness?

I'd love to see some benchmarks, especially in gaming. I saw few tests were FX8350 failed vs Phenom II 980 and i can't find that website, so i'd be really thankful if you could run few game tests.

I looked at quite a few benchmarks myself, most of the time the 8350 would beat the 980 by quite a bit, in others the 980 would just barely win.

But yeah, I would love to see some benchmarks comparing these 3. I currently plan on getting rid of my 960t and getting an FX-6300

Why not try Anandbench for a comparison?

I plan on getting rid of my 2500k, motherboard, and 960T to buy the FX-8350 (and upgrade to the Note II. tongue.gif)

Also, love your rig's name.... the derpinator 9002.... I laughed a lot harder then I should have from that.

Personally, I always love to see benches. And when I upgrade I always run some, just to make me feel better about my purchase (usually its cinebench for some reason, probably because its so easy to do, and looks way cooler with more cores). You can see what I did on my last upgrade in my sig (Am2 vs PhII). And yes, I know it was a while ago...

I've been starting to think about upgrading, and would love to see a lower clocked PhII (in fact, I'd probably do it once at stock, and once at your OC) compared to Vishera, but thats just me.

Either way though, make sure you enjoy that 8350 smile.gif.

These are cherry picked reviews!

Look here for all the official reviews!

http://www.overclock.net/t/1318860/various-amd-piledriver-fx-series-cpu-reviews-vishera-fx-8350-fx-8320-fx-6300-fx-4300

The 8350 is significantly better then the other processors listed.

I personally prefer it to the 2500k and definitely the 3570K which has not impressed me due to the thermal dynamics of cooling the smaller die size and I have benched it on phase up to 5.7Ghz!

The 2600k and the 2700k are my mainstream best processors. The 3770K has the same thermal dynamics flaws of the 3570k!
