Hello new guy =)
What solutions did you try?
- Try to remove the old RAM and install only the new one. See if it gets recognized by the system. If you get any error then probably the sticks are defecive. Otherwise try different combinations.
- Is the 2 kits the same model? 1333MHz?
- Try running memtest+86
- Set the RAM timings on the BIOS to the one printed on the sticks.

Try msconfig and select "Normal startup" hit apply and restart.

If that don't work, reseat your ram modules.

Look in the BIOS and make sure the Memory Hole setting is enabled. I agree with MrTOOSHORT too.

Timings must be correct. Use cpu-z to learn it

And voltage may be %10 more sometimes to stabilize

thanks smile.gif I tried to remove the old Ram and installed only the new ones and it works so they are working
great and it doesnt matters what combinations i will use
- yes they are the same models
- i think memtest is not needed the second kit is new, but i can try it
- ram timings are 9-9-9-24
- i have selected normal startup and reseated ram modules with no effect
- what is Memory Hole setting ?
- i have set up higher voltage with no effect

this is the picture from bios as you can see they are all recognized but two slots are disabled and I really dont know why also you can see the timings are the same

I found somewhere that i might have bent pins on the cpu socket do you think this can be the problem?
