Need help choosing fans

Thread Starter
I currently have five fans in my cm 430 case. The way the fans are running at the moment is unacceptable. I was thinking about grabbing some decent fans that ran quietly. Which ones would be best? I have an H80 in my case, I was thinking about putting a noctua on it to push air. But I would like to spend a little less on the other fans.

I use this fan and I love it to death. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835705004 It runs loudly, but the amount of air this thing pushes is well worth the sound. It legitly sounds like a normal fan you would be running in your room on a speed between slow-medium.

jesse618; if you can find any at all then definitely try out Thermalright's FDB fans, they're basically rebadged S-Flexes which are awesome fans; if you can't, then give the Scythe Kama Flow 2 a try, they go down to 800RPM. smile.gif

Funny, I have one of those, too, and it's VERY loud at full speed, hence why I have it connected to my Rheobus with my other fans. The motor tone is very pleasant but the noise volume overtakes it by a long shot.

Noiseblocker Eloops if you're willing to spend a bit of money. Otherwise Bitfenix Spectre Pro's and if you want really cheap fans: the Arctic F12 series fans smile.gif

I realized the sound won't be an issue, I use a headset whenever I'm on. What would be the best performance fans? Budget isn't an issue on the rad fans

Then you'll want some 38mm high speed San Ace fans. They are really loud, but they push air.

LOL I just finished posting about these fans.

TFC - Triebwerk 55mm Optimized Radiator Fan Shroud 61CFM @ 21dB $20

or if your not concerned about the noise level

TFC - Triebwerk - Performance Radiator Fan 3000RPM 215CFM 65dBA $20

These are the best fans I've come across. and Daz Mode has the best deals on them
