Trying to locate for someone who will be working with large blueprints ont he PC, they were asking for a 32 inch but I dunno about that and Dont want to get them a TV etc.

They like the idea of monitors that allow you to Completely adjust the screen, including turning it so that it is Wide, or Tall, sorry I cannot think of the term for this.

Most Dell Ultrasharps allow you to do that, and also change the resolution / orientation automatically or with a key press. But the Dell 30 inch on the website does NOT offer this =/

Anyone have any suggestions?

Would also prefer it to have speakers Built in or attachable but not important.

The 27" and 30" Dells also don't allow you to turn them portrait (or as you put it, wide/tall, words you were looking for were landscape/portrait

), I believe it's only the models up to the 24" that do that.

Yah I knew the 30 inch dells were a no go, I might have to talk them into a swivel Arm =?

I cant find anything else online other than this NEC

Yep Dell 30" with pivot mount would be good too. Those 30" NEC monitors are SUPER expensive, I set up 2 for a drafter about 6 months ago, but he insists they were worth every penny.

I'd go for a 30" Dell with a Swivel/pivot mount/wall mount, easiest option.

hmm il see what i can find for it,

Now the only thing is there would not be an auto resolution / screen flip included

is there a way to make a Hotkey to do this?

Il have to get them a Graphics card for this thing if I am not mistaken since this is Dual Link

I have no experience with these monitors so Im actually not to sure what is needed

I have no experience with these monitors so Im actually not to sure what is needed

Just make absolutely sure that the GPU has a dual link DVI output, or better yet Display Port if the monotor has one.

Just because it's a decent GPU you can't assume it too... the 7970 lightning doesn't have dual link DVI for example, and wouldn't be able to get a display signal.
