just looked on Newegg and found this:

what do you think? 1600x900 Resolution should be fine.

But you know with that video card and CPU, you really won't suffer from low framerates. My GTX 480 handles all of the games I throw at it at 1080p. The ones that give me trouble though are Metro 2033 and GTA 4. Those two are around 20-30 fps. It's not bad; at least to me, but you can always turn the resolution down in the games you want. It's just that games you know will run 60+ FPS you can turn it to max resolution and enjoy really crisp gaming and movies.

Or you could always just by a 25in. monitor with a max res of what you're looking for. I'm sure you can find one for about $250 at the most.

I think you are under estimating your 570s power...you can easily run most games at 1080p with good frames.

+1 he makes it seem like he is running a 240 lol.

Dude dont waste your money on the same resolution monitor. It's stupid and a waste of money. Go with 1080P your frames wont be severely hurt, and games look better at higher resolution. FPS isnt everything.

Also FWIW, I have a 6850 and your 570 is faster than my GPU and I still get great FPS in games. Your making the right choice going with 1080P for that 570.

I know this is similar to the first one you linked, however I did some research and it seems like this is the best 1080p monitor around:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059

What do you think?

By the way, the Acer 120hz monitor you linked also looks pretty sweet, however some reviews complain about a green tint - that a big problem for me. I would like my colours to stay true and crisp. (I know this because I have a friend with a monitor that gives out a green tint everywhere and GOD DOES IT LOOK BAD!)

thank you for all your options though. XD

I have this one, similar to the one you posted. I love it. This one is backlit, but no speakers. There's one with speakers, though
