800 or 1500€ build?

Hi guys!
Before I start planning the new build i wanted to ask you how much money to spend for it. This pc would be mainly for gaming. I play mostly shooters. I don know the resolution yet, because I have to buy a monitor(I got extra money for it) but I think it would be the newest 24" benq, because of his lowest delay. I would play games like bf3(but also cs)
and the coming games as long as I can on ultra(but also reasonanle fps). So there are 2 possibilities. I spend all my money(1500) now or I spend 800 and after 2, 3 years I buy one for 800 again. My question is with which solution I could play longer on max. settings? Is there maby better solution?

Go for the €1500 build. for 800 bucks with monitor you just can't build a good gaming PC.

To be honest mate,

If you were to blow £1500 on a machine it should last you a good few years, however I would wait until either

A. Christmas and January sales
B. The GTX700 series come out, which if I'm not mistaken should be the first/second quarter of next year. However that's just rumor so.
C. Just go with it and blow 1500 on a machine, once you've put SLi in there it will take any game for the next few years just like the GTX580 is still a great GPU. BTW, for £1500 you better be looking at SLi

I`m living in Germany. But Im still not sure what to choose. I dont know alot in this section and it is had to say for me which solution would be better and hold for longer time on better performance. In the second solution I could get newer hardware after two years again...

There would be also a possibility to buy for 1200 now and buy new graphic card or something leater, but like I said Im not familiar with this stuff and dont know if it makes any sence....

give me the link of an online computer store in germany. or shall i use amazon uk or overclockers uk to put a build for 650 pounds which would work out to just above 800 euro ( http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=1&From=GBP&To=EUR )

Here is how I would plan a build that would last for quite a while.

Select the best graphics card you can afford and plan your build around that. The GPU is what will limit your frame rate in games. I usually recommend a GTX 670, HD 7950 or a GTX 660 Ti.

Most modern CPUs can easily handle a single GPU. So don't get an expensive CPU unless you're into CPU-intensive stuff such as encoding. SSDs dropped so much in price, it's almost a must to have one as a primary drive for at least the OS. Beside that, get a decent motherboard and a decent PSU and the rest doesn't matter all that much.

So you´d say the 2x800 solution would be better? (If you could, please use amazon de) but you can also use uk stores smile.gif

Well I think 670 would not fit the 800 budget, would it? How much would your build approximately cost? So I could compare.

Hmmm... It really depends, I dont think I would build an entire new rig, You should try to upgrade parts as they become obsolete. A good HDD, and PSU can last a long time. Normally the first thing that gets dated will be the GPU anyways... xD

I personally, would get something similar to this... and upgrade it as needed
