[America's Army] What Do You Want See in the Next Version of America’s Army? - Page 3

WOW, I wondered if the game was still around! lol
I played this a long time ago and was in a clan for a while. Kind of nice because clan members that donated to the server always had priority on the server. I would love to play it again....given that it plays well.

It's funny that a free to play shooter (AA2) is actually among the best shooters of all time. At least in a competitive sense. Battlefield is enjoyable, as are many other games like Counter Strike, but none have given me the enjoyment AA2 did for 6 or so years.

In case anyone here doesn't know, you can still download AA2.5 and play. Some dedicated group put up their own authentication system and there is a small community of AA vets that play regularly.

Hey thank you for the link! I'm going to give it a try again. I did read...
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
WARNING NOTICE, Here at aa25.org we have a zero tolerance policy against hacking, cheating or exploiting. Even attempting to hack will result in a ban from using our auth system. If you like playing this game then keep your behaviour clean. If you like to hack or cheat then go back to 2.8.5

Haha, awesome!

I can relate to what you are saying about the quality of the game for the price. I played other FPS games but would find myself playing AA again. I thought it was just me because I never heard anyone on this forum talk about the game much if at all.

Yeah i had some amazing pub and TWL matches in AA 1x and 2x. I was in the S.O.S Clan smile.gif 3.0 kinda killed the game for my clan and we sorta disbanded. Hopefully 4.0 will be better.

This isn't a feedback request for an upcoming patch for AA3, this is for an entirely new AA"4".

Totally agree! I played AA2 for 4 years, amazing game. AA3 was terrible.

If AA wants to be any sort of popular the US Government just needs to go ahead and license use of the frostbite 2 engine. Even a decent dev team could do a ton with that engine.

I rememeber playing AA2 with you for 6-10 months. Was a great time. I sadly cannot remember what my AA2 name was..lol Was a long time ago.

You got your honor up pretty high. Looks like you played a lot more than me though, I only got to 48.

2's official servers are down, you have to play 3 unless you're willing to play the really old 2.5.
