Shame too because the weapon mechanics in BF3 are the best in any shooter I've ever played. By a pretty large margin to. People are missing out.
I'm pretty excited the maps are going to be karkand size. If AK showed us anything it's that gigantic maps really aren't all that popular with the community anymore. The mid-sized maps that support vehicles but don't make it so you have to be in one are the sweet spot and what sets BF3 apart from anything else on the market.
I love BF3 but saying that it has the best weapon mechanics? I don't think so.
You choose a weapon, choosing if you want it to suck at everything, suck at doing something or be OP.
Sure it's fun having a variety of guns that all feel different but I wouldn't call that mechanics..

Looking forward to this as mid-sized maps are nice smile.gif)

They weren't all that popular because the original player base left the game a long time ago because of the lack of large maps. The only BF3 players that are left are the new age new players to the game that think it's awesome.

Original battlefield players only had massive conquest maps and that was it. Thats what made battlefield what it was. Everything it is now, is not battlefield and why no body wants anythign to do with it. Planetside 2 is what I play mostly now. Why? Because the devs don't tell me how to play the game, they let me decide for myself. Which is true sandbox gameplay.

Wasn't Karkand one of the more popular maps from BF2? lol and it was filled with nade spamming..

I don't mind the smaller maps because it's a nice break from the bigger maps. I love that BF3 has such a variety.

The maps look alright, but the crossbow absolutely kills it for me. This DLC is not worth $15.

I'll be getting Premier soon. Everything they've released so far looks great. This latest addition might not be the best, but it's not going to hurt it either. I been playing since Week 1 of release, and with all the Premier content, I don't see how I'll ever get bored with BF3. Second-most time I've ever put into a game as it is, and I only have Karkland.

Worth is subjective. smile.gif For those who will get 40+ hours out of the expansion (which isn't very hard if you enjoy the game), it will be money well spent.
