The memory speed on those things is INSANE, I'm willing to bet they're using a very mild CPU ramp up policy, or governor as we call it on Android and Linux kernels. Battery must of taken a big hit due to LTE, so they likely squeezed in battery savings from other areas as much as possible.

Not trying to derail the topic, but the Swiftkey Flow keyboard ad (here) is making me STRONGLY consider staying on android and just putting up with the ocasional stutter. Swype and Swiftkey are the best mobile keyboards in my eyes, and this is the best of both worlds. Looks like I narrowed it down to Nexus 4 vs Lumia 920 for my next phone.
