totally agree. i am running win 8 pro on a tablet, a desktop and a laptop via remote desktop from the aforementioned desktop. i have been running it on the tablet (acer iconia w500) since day one of the consumer preview.
next week i will be receiving a 256gb ssd and 1tb hdd from new egg for my laptop (g73sw) and installing it there.
i don't want to start a flame war but if someone is a power user i don't see how they can afford not to migrate to win 8. i understand the costs of businesses and for a business to migrate will take planning and time.
but for us random power users this is a big step up. metro/modern isn't really a big deal to me either way but the under the hood improvements makes this os a must for power users.
far too many folks like to complain just to complain.Edited by gammite - 10/28/12 at 5:05pm
