Similar mouse pads to QPAD CT?

Hi.
I've got a QPAD CT Large and I love the glide on it, much smoother than friction filled mats like the QCK's. However, the white areas on the mouse pad makes it pretty useless as I have noticed that when playing with a DeathAdder it tracks a lot worse on the white areas than the darker ones (sensitivity is lowered, notice it when playing FPS games with low sense).

Anyone know of a good mouse pad that has similar surface but with one color? I'm using a DeathAdder now, but I've got a Zowie EC1 eVo on the way (not sure which one I'll use yet).

I've been thinking about the PureTrak Talent, but don't know if the surface is anything like the QPAD CT.

you'll like the surface of the talent more than the CT... it's even smoother but has a balance to it's glide. i love mine and was in your same boat with the inconsistent glide of the qck...

talent > all in the cloth department imo

All?

I haven't used a Talent or a CT, but some cloth pads are hard to beat in terms of low friction and fast glide... Artisan Hayate and Zowie P/G-TF Speed come to mind... I wonder how they compare rolleyes.gif

CT isn't really a cloth mat, it's a hybrid. It will differ fundamentally from the talent (and all cloth pads like QCK, Hayate, etc) and cannot really be compared to them.

Artisan Shiden or Shiden-Kai can easily be described as hybrids too, so what you really want is one of them. If you want to save money, just get a CT in a different colour and enjoy!

There's only two different colors for the QPAD CT. White with weird stuff on it, and the dark blue with white stuff on it. As the white stuff on the dark blue pad ruins it, why would I want a white one?

Not really, there are loads of different versions of the CT, atleast here in glorious motherland Sweden. http://www.maxfps.se/product_view.aspx?productid=4307 maybe something if red is better than white. Rakaka is one of Swedens biggest e-sport sites smile.gif. http://www.maxfps.se/product_view.aspx?productid=3151 This is also a version without white. BrutalCS is one of Swedens biggest CS-server hosters smile.gif

Oh, didn't know that. I do know about rakaka though, I read it all day. Don't know how the red on it will work though, would prefer a black one.

Send Qpad a mail about it. As far as I know, they simply just print the pictures, feels like it would be easy to make one 100% black.
100% black and logo in the lower right coner would look killer smile.gif

Still, a Shiden or Shiden Kai would be noooiice if not totally worth the asking price of over £50 from Quietpc (rip off site though, you can probably get it cheaper from Artisan directly)
