Applications Using Lots of Memory

Thread Starter
Hey guys, i seem to be having an issue with my memory.

It seems that applications are constantly using more and more memory which is leading to "program not responding" and applications "hanging" aswell as programs taking forever to open and close sometimes.

Here are a couple examples of what im talking about

I'm not really sue what is causing this issue. The most recent change I have made to my rig was adding another kit of 4GB of RAM (same timings, voltage, speed..ect)

Any way I can correct this problem without removing the second kit of RAM?

Your physical memory usage is fine and normal in both screenshots.
If programs are hanging or taking a while to open I might suspect a disk issue.
