weird sli problem

Hi all, i'm running sli 260s, i have a problem when i close a game or full screen 3d application. my monitor will go into power saving mode, but if i move the dvi cable to the other card it will come on. It goes round in circles, though it dosent do it everytime so if i launch then close a game again i'll have to switch the cable back. Both cards run fine on their own. Been running this config for 6 months and have had no issues prior. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

just to add it seems to work plugging into the other slot on the same card also

cheers ryan

It might be a windows issue, it might be a graphic card issue, and it might be a cable issue. i am not very sure.

maybe trying another backup graphic card if you have one laying around to see if the problem pre-exists

Did you recently update your GPU drivers, and if so have you tried rolling back to see if the problem persists?

Tried re installing the latest nvidia drivers but the problem persisted, ended up doing a fresh install of windows, this seems to have fixed the problem. thanks
