Happy Birthday XP!

Thread Starter
The beloved Windows XP has turned 11. One of the most successful operating systems ever has 18 months left before all support and the final security update comes out. More info on it here!

So we all know people will still be using XP beyond its "expiration date". XP has been quite the OS.

I remember when I started using it, thankfully I never experienced ME or 2000.

Ah XP... thou art a durable one that's for sure. wink.gif As an IT guy at my school, I'm ready for all the XP machines to be gone. We have a few Conroe desktops left running XP but they're scheduled to be moved out at the end of the spring semester. Networking will be so much nicer with Windows 7 and especially Windows 8.

But I digress, happy bday XP! You have indeed served us well. thumbsupsmiley.png
