[Back to Intel] My new RIG!!! - Page 4

I'd buy a reference 7970 and overclock it. It will be much cheaper than the linked 680 or the Asus Matrix 7970 and perform just as well. Not to mention the reference coolers are in line with your cooler scheme.

$500 for a 7970?!

Get a GTX 680 or 7970 that ISNT $500

Get a different mobo. Maybe Asrock z77 extreme4.

Get a different PSU. [modular alternative]

I'd get this RAM. I have it and it overclocks to 1866Mhz. Cheaper and less modules.

I'd also get a different case. It's up to you, but I personally don't like that Trooper case. I'd go with something cheaper with lots of features or something else. IDK what you're looking for in a case, but I personally love my Corsair C70. If you LAN at all, I would highly recommend it.

I read you want to color coordinate , but your case has no side window...

Also, if you're dropping this kind of money, you might as well upgrade to the 3770k.
