The AMD FX-8350 no sooner had an overclocking record of 7.443GHz, than the record was defeated by another one. The processor has now achieved 8.176GHz with all eight cores enabled.

He's just making a safe assumption. More than likely oc'ed only one core this high, otherwise he might not have been able to get it stable.

It clearly says all 8 cores enabled and I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's only stable enough to get a validation.

Edit: Although to be fair it is probably just one. 8 on though. Had a slow moment because it's morning here.
