Sooper Dooper Trinity Build

Thread Starter
So with Black Friday/Cyber Monday (Awesome Deals!) coming up here I want to put a list together for a new build.

Now you might be wondering why I want to build a new nice system with Windows 8, here's the reason why: The Reason

What it will be used for:
~ Internet
~ General Stuffs
~ Light gaming (CS:GO, Minecraft, light stuff)
~ HTPC

Now onto the good part, the parts list.

A10-5800k - Have
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 - Have
Lian Li A04B - Ordered

I already have the:

Ram (x2)
SSD
Windows 7

Now here comes the problem, I don't know what case I'd like to enclose all of this with. I'd like it to by small, quiet, and possibly light so that I can move it around the house as I please. I would like to stay away from mesh panels, as that gives me unwanted fan noise so I was thinking Lian-Li, Silverstone, etc. and a max budget of $100.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing/forgetting something so if you see that I have, feel free to make comments/suggestions and let me know!

Edit: Parts list updated with MOBO and Case

Edit 2: Changed Case and MOBO

You just made me want a touchscreen monitor

As far as a case goes, I've got a friend for whom I built a system quite like the one you're planning,
and I ended up going for this case: link.

It's small, compact, pretty light and it comes with free shipping at a $99.99 price. Hope that'll help you out smile.gif

That monitor doesn't seem comfortable to use as a touch screen. It looks like it has a matte screen and a raised bezel. Windows 8 gestures require you to swipe from offscreen which is a total ***** when your screen isn't flush with the bezel. And non-glossy screens are just unpleasant to touch in the first place. Great for glare, bad for touch.

Building a touch-based rig around Win8 sounds like a great idea, though. I'd totally do something like that for an HTPC. But only if I could find a glass screen D:

I'm waiting on some reviews for this thing as it looks like it was recently released? I also have some time to look around redface.gif

Woops, guess I was too fast looking at the form-factor of the mobo you picked out, being mATX rather than mITX. Sorry about that! I'll have a look around for a mATX case as soon as I get back to the office smile.gif

Looking around for a bit, I found 2 other decent-looking (mATX this time) cases,

The bigger and slightly more expensive brother of the last one (sorry if it's a bit out of budget): link
Another Lian-Li mATX case with a today-only 25% off promo-code: link

Hope these are a bit more helpful!

I really like the A04 but I like it in black more wink.gif

Think I'll be going with the Lian-Li A04

Very simplistic design plus tons of 3.5" Drive bays when I want to throw some extra storage in there to make this my Main Rig/Media Server smile.gif

If this is an HTPC build and you don't care about overclocking, you may want to consider the 65w A10-5700 instead:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1320379/hexus-review-amd-a10-5700-65w-trinity

Also consider the 128GB Samsung 830 SSD instead - it is currently $102 on Amazon, though was only $90 last week:

Thanks for the suggestions, it will mainly be used as a general use PC, not just HTPC, but it will be hooked up to the TV that's next to my desk.

Also, I already have the SSD thumb.gif
