I've been using Swiftkey on my HTC One X and to be honest it's pretty retarded. The only reason why I keep using it is because I paid for it :x
Then again, I type in swedish, not in english.
It doesn't really predict your meanings, but it kinda remembers what you typed before, so for example if you previously typed "worked" and the next time you want to type "work", it will automatically change to "worked" which is just frustrating.
It's only usable if you use very few words/meanings, but once it becomes complex, it's a whole different story.
There's a lot of hype for this for nothing.

Are you sure you didn't get a ripoff which looks like swiftkey? It's pretty great for me.

Deeldo said they were typing in Swedish, maybe the non-English language prediction within the app isn't so great.

OT - Looks promising. My personal gripe with Swiftkey in English is the way my fat thumb always brushes the settings or back buttons when typing. Touchpal remedied that problem but presented a new one in not allowing me to add words to the dictionary, leading to annoying auto-corrects. I wonder when they're going to start releasing the beta builds biggrin.gif

Swype is some sort of a status symbol with people. Everyone I know types faster with just a regular phone keyboard, including me.

Tried it with 4 languages, and it's more like "horrible" rather than "not so great".

I never understood what's so great about swype functions in keyboard and it looks like she is playing fruit ninja.

I love Swiftkey! I type exactly like the person in the beginning, only a tad slower, I even taught Swiftkey to text how I text/spell and it even learned my dialect. So Awesome. I probably wont use flow though. Seems more of an inconvenience for me than typing.

I don't use prediction, just its auto-correct features, does well for my dialect.
