Is my CM Storm Trigger defective?

My CM Storm Trigger is randomly "reseting" itself. All lights on the keyboard will randomly turn off except the num/caps/scr and the keyboard itself will stop functioning (can't type). When it goes back to normal after 2-3 seconds, the num/caps/scr are all lit but don't really do anything until I manually press numlk/capslock/scrlk. i.e. pressing 'a' after the keyboard "resets" yields a normal 'a' instead of an 'A'. If I'm typing while the keyboard resets, the key I last hit will keep going till the keyboard is fully reset. i.e. Something like this happens: sssssssssssssssssssssssss
Is it defective or is this just a temporary thing?

Is it defective or is this just a temporary thing?

How long have you had this keyboard for? Are you able to send it back and get a replacement?

If so, I would first try it on another computer. If it still has issues, then send it back.

Maybe 2-3 months. It's still on warranty but I'd rather not ship it back to CM unless it's 100% dead... I saw a youtube video of my problem and the person said he fixed it by adjusting some USB settings in the BIOS. Any idea what those were?
