Motherboard for i5-3570k - Page 6

Posting a link to your local site here would help. At a guess around your budget the Gigabyte D3H is the only one that supports SLI, Msi GD41 doesnt, nor do Asus P8z77-v LX or the Asrock Pro3. Would you consider used? Ebay may be worth a look if you really want something better.

I'm saying you'll struggle to even find that board, let alone any board.

Socket 1155 is gone. I think I saw an asrock extreme 4 which can sli on newegg.

Also be careful when looking at the gigabyte boards the Z77-D3H can't sli, whilst the Z77X-D3H can (note the 'x')

If you can get the Z77'X'-D3H then grab it up, great board for the price, feature rich, sli, and a solid digital 6 phase cpu power vrm setup.

I'm using one right now.

Can't find any new GA Z77X-D3H, only used one.

What about these ones?
GA Z87X-UD3H is it better?
GA-Z87X-OC

Where can I found info about phase power etc. of motherboards?

As I said socket 1155 is gone.

Those two boards you've listed are not compatible with your processor.

Z87 = socket 1150.

I've tried explaining to you that it's going to be very hard to find a good motherboard now for your processor.

This is your best bet for sli.

Damn I forgot about compatibility, shame on me!

So it seems the best from Gigabyte for my cpu are chipsets Z77 and Gigabyte mobos are the best for my cpu?
http://www.gigabyte.pl/products/select/mb/socket_1155

Btw. what is better:
LAN: Atheros GbE or Realtek GbE
Audio: VIA VT2021 or Realtek® ALC887

What about GA Z77-D3H without SLI is it still good for required OC?
There is some similar mobo to this one, maybe MSI Z77A-GD55?

I'd probably go for gigabyte over MSI as they tend to use superior VRM components. (cpu power)

The Z77-D3H will be fine but as you know no sli.

It's only a 4 phase board but will still net you a 4.5/4.6ghz or OC (depending on the cpu and cooling of course)

They get 4.6ghz in this xbitlabs review.

Good luck on the OC thumb.gif

My bad sorry@majkool didnt mean to misguide you obviously.

Sins hardware has a great list for comparing motherboards overclocking features. It's not totally comprehensive but I find it very useful. Not all VRM's are equal as Casey Ryback has said.

Best of luck.
