My 7970 uses less voltage?

Not to sound off but yea. In MSI AB my stock voltage was 1.112, normally 1.174. I been OCing and have it stable even going all the way up to 1200/1600 just now at 1.181v. Is this weird? Or did this card get a power adjustment later in its life? I cannot find a thing about this on the internet.

different chips have different stock voltages. its called binning. not every chip needs to have 1.175v as stock voltage. some have 1.112v while few even have 1.05v. 1.2 Ghz at 1.181v is very good. but are you sure its stable. check using heaven 3.0, 3d mark 11, bf3, crysis 2. atleast 15 min of each test. these are the best apps for testing if your overclock is stable.

Is there a list somewhere of the stock voltage ranges for AMD's 7000-series GPU family, similar to what Intel publishes for their CPUs?

I seem stable. When I furmark I get to 85c and the card auto artifacts and I been told this is not instability, but throttle. SO now I will be looping heaven benchmakr for 10 - 20 minutes and then 3dmark11 for a bit.
